Tree House High School Kids celebrate Independence Day on Aug 15

Urge their parents to take up ‘Yog’ for a healthy mind and a healthy body


August 16, 2013: Tree House High School students at Karve Nagar, Pune celebrated the country’s 67th Independence Day with patriotic fervor and verve. They showcased an eclectic glimpse into the culture and traditions of India. ‘Shivstuti”, the traditional dance form of Bharatnatyam was presented by students with grace and reverence. The Yoga and Gymnastics club of students performed various Yogasanas as well as the Suryanamaskar, urging their parents to take up ‘Yog’ for a healthy mind and a healthy body.
The Corporator of Karve Nagar, Mrs. Laxmitai Dudhane, guest of honor unfurled the tricolor and released tri coloured balloons suffusing the atmosphere with bonhomie and pride. Addressing the gathering she said “I am delighted to have witnessed such a well managed event by the skilled children and their teachers at Tree House. The rendition of patriotic songs by the little ones reinforced the love for the nation in my heart. The effervescent Bhangra performed by kinds with ebullience and zeal brought me and everyone to their feet”
Commenting on occasion Mr Rajesh Bhatia, Managing Director of Tree House Group, said “Mrs. Laxmitai Dudhane presence at the event encouraged our kinds to put up electric performance. The tiny tots had the audience spell bound and awed by the dramatization of the Water Cycle. The clarity of concept and the confidence to express that clarity in one so young was indeed commendable”
