Mumbai, December 2022: Prempuri Bal Sanskar Kendra (PBSK), Swami PrempuriAshtram Trust (SPAT), is inviting participation from students of pre-primary, primary and secondary sections for 2023 Baal Mahotsav inter school competition. Mrs Deena Mehta, Trustee, Swami PrempuriAshtram Trust Bal Sanskar Kendra, said “We are happy to announce the annual Bal Mahotsav program after a gap of two years due to Covid19 restrictions. The events that will be conducted in the festival are for group competitions as well as individual talent appreciation. Competitions range from dance, dramas, singing, craft, drawing, mehndi, flower arrangement, Geeta chanting, essay writing etc. Nearly 500+ prizes and trophies will be given to winners of this keenly fought competition between students of 200+ schools and over 5000 participants. This competition has been conducted for over 3 decades.

We believe participation is more important than winning in this unique cultural event that seeks to encourage quality participation which gives children different sensory, physical and cognitive experiences.  Participating in this mega event helps in building teamwork, communication, relationships, and a sense of belonging, all of which help students to develop socially and be successful in school.  The one-of-its kind event that has been continuing for over three decades, is aimed at planting thoughts that help developsocial skills and empathy—the outward-oriented dimensions of emotional intelligence (EQ). The interactions or conversations elicited by events help students build relationships, understand different perspectives and engage other cultures” she said
