GJF launches monthly B2B magazine – ‘G&J Times’

Empowering members with latest Information on Gold & Jewellery trade

The All India Gems and Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF), the national trade federation for the promotion and growth of trade in Gems and Jewellery (G&J) Industry across India, hosted an exciting 6th edition of its signature GJF NITE 2014 amid gusto and glitter at Renaissance Hotel, Powai, Mumbai. The fun filled, entertaining and musical fashion extravaganza event, presented by R. M. Jewellery and powered by CVM, was attended by over 1500 members, industry dignitaries and foreign delegates, who used the platform to engage and network with the fellow industry people.


Amid the applauding celebration, GJF announced the  launch of its monthly B2B magazine – ‘G&J Times’ on the domestic gems & jewellery business covering the latest trend, development and challenges in the industry.  The magazine was unveiled by Ms Rupa Dutta, Economic Advisor, Ministry Of Commerce, Government of India, Bollywood actress Ms Mugdha Godse,  Mr Haresh Soni, Chairman, GJF, Mr Manish Jain, Vice Chairman, GJF and Mr Bachhraj Bamalwa, Chairman, Publication, Website & PR Communication, GJF and the board members.

Ravishing Mugdha Godse, who was the show stopper along with beautiful models, showcased unique designs and treasures from R. M Jewellery, CVM, Swarovski Gems, Dassani bothers and Jai Gulab Dev Jewellers.  

The event was sponsored by R. M Jewellery, CVM, Dassani brothers, Jai Gulab Dev Jewellers, Swarovski Gemstones, Forever Mark, Shringar House of Magalsutra and Diavisz Jewel, Bright Outdoor Media.

The National champions of the World Skill competition were felicitated by All India Gems & Jewellery Trade Federation (GJF) & Gems & Jewellery Skill Council of India (GJSCI) dignitaries.

The Gems & Jewellery industry is a hand crafted and labour intensive with over 1 crore strong labour force engaged in the manufacturing of jewellery industry in the domestic sector. The industry size is estimated to be in the region of Rs. 4,00,000 crore. The Federation’s mission is to support and promote the progress and prosperity of all the members in the gems and jewellery industry across India. It also provides regular news updated on notifications, rules and regulations declared by the Government. It promotes the trade, by participating in promotional events on a national level. It encourages the trade through the organization of consumer exhibits in India. It also counsels educational and research institutes that help in developing superior quality and high standards for effective functioning of the trade.
