Mrs. Amruta Fadnavis who was felicitated by Global Champs kid Abdullah Faroaqui, said, “Preschool for all is becoming necessity, education can never be taken away or stolen. It is my privilege to be part of the 1st annual day function of Global Champs School in Dharavi as a chief guest.  Itna pyaara (Such a lovely) Global Champs pre-school by Tree House Foundation for the kids of Dharavi is indeed is a noble endeavour. Our children are the future of our country and education should help them break all boundaries. Education should be bold, practical & boundaryless. Quality education has to come out of the purview of privileged and has to reach economically deprived sections of our society. We need many such schools to develop Dharavi and other backward regions of Maharashtra and I will make personal request to CM. Also, I believe moral education is important for the children and we must ensure that our children don’t’ growup to harm society rather than building it and making it better.”

Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, Promoter and Managing DirectorTree House Education and Accessories Limited, said, “Our Global Champs preschool center at Dharavi in Mumbai caters to children of the urban lower income groups, primarily in the slums. We opened this school 10 months back and I am very happy that so many children have joined. We are making quality education accessible to these children so that they can also dream big. Today none of us know what they will become once they grow up, perhaps doctors, engineers, scientists or educators. If the country has to move forward rapidly, Maharashtra has to move forward, Dharavai has to move forward, we need many more quality preschool centers that can cater to vast number of children; I urge the government to help us build more such schools.”
“Early childhood education is key for children in the age group upto 6 years, to experience childhood differently and build on learning in the environment of a preschool. Research has shown that children who have had a good experience in their formative years at preschool go ahead and complete their primary and secondary schooling successfully and the dropout rate in high school falls significantly. The Global Champs endeavor of Tree House is towards building an ecosystem for helping children of the urban lower income groups to overcome that hurdle,” added Mrs. Geeta Bhatia (Director, Tree House).

Tree House strives to give a world class experience in its preschools. At Global Champs we promise to maintain the same standards. Pre-schooling for all is what the Tree House management team desires for the nation. We believe that education enables individuals to reach their full potential as human beings. Education is also the driver of the country’s economic development. ” Mr. Bhatia added.
