Mr. Rajesh Bhatia, Promoter and Managing Director, Tree House Education and Accessories Limited, said “We are pleased to announce the opening of our Global Champs preschool center at Dharavi in Mumbai catering to children of the urban lower income groups, primarily in the slums.
Early childhood education is key for children in the age group upto 6 years, to experience childhood differently and build on learning in the environment of a preschool. Research has shown that children who have had a good experience in their formative years at preschool go ahead and complete their primary and secondary schooling successfully and the dropout rate in high school falls significantly. Tree House strives to give a world class experience in its preschools. At Global Champs we promise to maintain the same standards. Pre-schooling for all is what the Tree House management team desires for the nation. We believe that education enables individuals to reach their full potential as human beings. Education is also the driver of the country’s economic development. ” Mr Bhatia added.
Under the Global Champs brand, Tree House now has 6 schools in slum areas of Kandivali, Chembur, Vikhroli, Kharghar, Malad and Dharavi.
