Amusement Industry show from Feb 26 in Mumbai

The Indian Association of Amusement Parks and Industries (IAAPI) is geared up to unveil the 20th IAAPI AMUSEMENT EXPO 2020 from 26 - 28 February 2020 at Hall 2, Bombay Exhibition Centre, NESCO Compound, Goregaon East, Mumbai, INDIA.  

IAAPI) is an apex body representing the interests of Amusement Parks, Theme Parks, Water Parks and Family Entertainment Center in India.  The three day exhibition, supported by Ministry of Tourism – under the banner Incredible India, will be inaugurated by the International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) Chairman, Ms Amanda Thompson also the Managing Director, Blackpool Pleasure Beach and Mr. Sohansinh Jadeja – President - IAAPI, along with the office bearers.  

IAAPI’s 20th “Amusement Expo” is the biggest B2B exhibition on sourcing for amusement, leisure and recreation industry, bringing a comprehensive range of products and services offered by the industry under one roof. It provides an opportunity to interact with the end users.   Apart from business transactions, the show also provides an exposure to 175+ (105 International) exhibitors, from 20 countries, with 80,0000 sq. ft of space, showcasing the latest trends and developments in the industry. 

The exhibitors will display equipment, products and services for Amusement & Theme Park, Water Park, and Indoor Amusement Centers with focus on Adventure Sports, Playground Equipment, Admission System, Automation Animation & Visual Effects, Food & Beverage, Safety, Security and more.  The exhibition will attract trade professionals comprising of decision makers from amusement industry, Park and IAC operators, Architects, Resorts & Hotel Chains, Government Officials, Real Estate & Mall Developer, Municipal and Local Authorities, Consultants, Museums and Science Centers, Historic / Tourism Attractions.    

In today’s era amusement parks are not just about rides and fun games but have evolved as a tourist destination from rides, exhibits, F&B options, retail outlet and quality accommodation.   India has over 160 plus amusement parks and the future growth of the sector are going to be away from the city limits along with resorts and hotels at a tourism destination. 

Amusement Parks in India attract over 30 million (3 crore) visitors annually. Children & Youth visit the park either in school groups or with families and constitutes 50% of park visitors. Adults constitute the remaining 50% as they either visit with their families or in corporate groups.

IAAPI is a non-government, not-for-profit, industry-led and industry-managed organization, playing a proactive role in development of this sector.   Founded in 1999, IAAPI is India's premier business association having over 445 members from the private sectors including small and medium enterprises consisting of park operators and equipment manufacturers.

ICE Make Reports 21.31% jump in consolidated revenue for Q2 FY2025
