SLCM was a clear winner amongst several large & medium sized logistics & supply chain Groups along with several warehousing players which participated for the awards.  While almost all market players present in the sector focus on creating warehouse infrastructure, SLCM focuses only on Scientific Warehouse Management Processes. The award bestowed to SLCM recognizes the change the Group has brought to the industry & labelled as challengers to the other players in the industry. A detailed FICCI study stated that by using scientific warehousing processes of SLCM for managing agri logistics in existing structures can reduce storage losses from 10 per cent to a mere 0.5 per cent, translating into a saving of roughly 76,000 crores every year (Accredited by FICCI in their study ‘India-US collaboration in Agriculture’).
