Tree House Education Q3FY15 net profit rises 24.96% to INR 15.12 cr

Q3FY15 income up 33.67% to INR 53.11 cr

·       Q3FY15 Operational EBITDA  up by 31.13% to  INR 32.17 cr

February 9, 2015: Tree House Education and Accessories Limited (‘Tree House”), which runs quality pre-schools and also provides educational services to K-12 schools throughout India, posted a 24.96% y-o-y growth in its net profit for the quarter ended December 31, 2014 (Q3 FY15) amounting to INR 15.12 crore. Tree House net profit in the corresponding quarter (Q3FY14) stood at INR 12.10 crore.  

The total revenue grew by 33.67% to INR 53.11 crore during Q3 FY15, compared to INR 39.73 crore reported in the 3rd quarter FY2014.   The EBITDA for Q3 FY15 is INR 32.17 crore compared to 24.53 crore for the 3rd quarter of FY2013, representing 31.13% y-o-y growth. The operational EBITDA margin for Q3 FY15 was 60.57% and the net profit margin was 28.21%.

Tree House had a net addition of 24 preschools in the 3rd quarter of FY2015 and the total number of centres as of December 31, 2014, was 562 across 80 cities in India. Out of this, the number of self-operated centres was 459 with the ratio of self-operated to total pre-schools standing at 81.67%. It provides school management services to 24 K-12 schools in 3 states. The total staff strength as of Q3 FY 2015 was 2179. The total teacher strength was 2085.
