Pune, January 26, 2015: Nanhe Prayaas, Bada Prabhav (Tiny efforts lead to a high impact)! Over 1,800 Tree House school tiny tots aged between 3 -12 years, portrayed an interesting display of patriotism and nationalism by creating a flag made by students in Pune on the occasion of the 66th Republic Day celebration.

Celebrating our 66th Republic Day, Tree House High schools’  pre primary, primary and middle level students -  assisted by their teachers - came together in two separate groups, decked in the Indian Tricolors  - saffron, white and green as they  formed India’s largest human flag by children under 12 years of age at Tree House High School premise in Karve Nagar Pune.  Adequate safety measures were deployed to ensure safety of all participants. It was a red letter day for the students of Tree House, a day that they will remember for years to come. They performed a feat that will instill the love and pride for the nation in their hearts forever.

In the august presence of Mrs Laxmitai Dudhane the students of the first batch from Tree House High Schools – Kondhwa, SUS and Manjri created an awe inspiring human Indian flag.

On this momentous occasion, the students were briefed about “Bharat Swachta Abhiyan” and they also took a pledge to study and work with dedication, preserve and strengthen the freedom and integrity of the nation, perform ones’ duties and follow rules with the seriousness it deserves.

Surg Vice Adm Sushil Kumar, AVSM, NM, VSM, Director and Commandant, AFMC, Pune and Mr Rajesh Bhatia, Promoter and MD, Tree House Group graced the occasion. Mrs Madhulika Kumar encouraged the students with her august presence.

The Chief Guest in his address to the students emphasized that   it was the duty of every citizen to participate in Swachta Bharat Abhiyaan” and build our country with the spirit of patriotism, passion and pride. We, the paents and teachers, must infuse patriotism and nationalism in the present and the next-generation. Children learn by example, particularly when it comes to patriotism. Love and pride in one’s nation will always help our youngsters be global entities. Through art, creativity and interesting demonstration, parents, educators, and leaders of the nation must instill a sense of responsibility and enthusiasm that inspires the youngsters to become the ‘Unmol Ratnas’ of our nation.
